Pay Pack Dues

Annual Pack Dues

During new scout Sign-ups, new scout families paid membership dues to the North Florida Council and Boy Scouts of America and for a subscription to Boys Life. All of that fee goes straight to supporting scouting at the district, council and national levels.  None of that fee goes to the Pack.

Instead, the parents in the Pack pay for its activities with dues.  Our Pack collects Annual Dues at one time, rather than collecting dues every den meeting.  Each fall, all scouts (including Tigers and Webelos II) pay their Pack 416 Annual Dues of $59.00.

The Annual Dues (and the portion of popcorn sales the Pack earns) covers:

  • Allowing all new pack members to get a free T-shirt (the Class B uniform)
  • Allowing all new tigers, wolves, bears and webelos Is to receive a neckerchief
  • Allowing all new tigers, wolves, bears and webelos Is to receive a book for next year
  • all patches except the four starter ID patches discussed on the uniforms page
  • all badges, belt loops, pins and other awards
  • pack meeting supplies for 8 pack meetings
  • Pinewood Derby car kit
  • Raingutter Regatta kit
In addition to the Pack Annual Dues, you have to pay the national BSA registration fee ($24.00 per year).  The BSA registration fee provides our pack with insurance for activities, program, and much more.

Optionally, you can pay for a subscription to Boys' Life ($12.00) which is a monthly magazine with age-appropriate, scout-appropriate contents that the boys love to read.
