Cub Scout Round Up

JOIN THE FUN & ADVENTURE OF CUB SCOUTING

Joining Night for Pack 416: September 1, 2011 at 7 p.m.
Chiles Elementary School Cafeteria

The Adventure starts now!

The adventure starts with Cub Scouting, a year-round family program designed for boys who are 6 to 11 years old. (From 1st through 5th grade).

The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, family understanding, character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Your son will mostly notice he's having fun, but you will see it's "Fun with a Purpose!"

Young boys grow up fast. Give your son a valuable gift by encouraging him to join Cub Scouting today. The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow.

Our Pack

Pack 416 is chartered by Queen of Peace and is supported by Lawton Chiles Elementary. We draw boys
from those schools plus anyone living in the area. We have about 50-70 boys arranged in dens according to age, with about 8 boys per den. The dens meet two or three times per month and the pack meets as a whole once per month.

We camp two or three times each year, and participate in several service projects, including Scouting for Food, Air Potato Round Up, Thanksgiving baskets, etc.

Your son will also enjoy special days like Pinewood Derby miniature car racing, raingutter regatta, bicycle rodeo and more...Come join the fun!
