Meet the Committee Chair

Sheila Diuguid is the Committee Chair of Pack 416

Former Girl Scout, Sheila Diuguid (dogood), is the Committee Chair of Pack 416, after 4 years as an active Cub Scout parent in the pack.  She has been a Committee Member for the past year, serving primarily as a Blue and Gold event coordinator.  Sheila loves being a Cub Scout parent, and has enjoyed learning, playing, and growing in the “cub scout way” along side her Webelos II Scout, Jefferson Diuguid.

Sheila has completed Youth Protection training, Unit Commissioner Training, and basic leader training

“This is Scouting”.  Sheila looks forward to other training opportunities in the coming year.

Sheila enjoys working annually with her son and fellow den members to collect food for local food banks.  Sheila served for two years as a Shands team leader for the “Live United” United Way’s annual fund raising initiative.  Sheila loves all things “Cub Scouts”, camping, cake decorating, and spending time with her family.

Sheila has live in Gainesville for 34 years, and enjoys the natural beauty available here, and neighboring areas.  Sheila is married to Dave Diuguid, a native of Gainesville, and a die hard Gator fan.  Sheila is the mother of two: Alexis, 19, a Freshmen at Santa Fe College, College of Fine Arts, Technical Theater program; and Jefferson, Webelos Scout, who attends LCES, enjoys karate, camping, and scouting.

Sheila works for the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in the department of Community Health and Family Medicine. Sheila is excited to work with the Cubmaster, and dedicated Committee Members to recruit quality leaders, retain membership, be a detailed liaison between the District and Pack, and promote fun with a purpose.
